We started out with a pair of junky bedside tables from the thrift store, but on a new apartment budget they were perfect. A little inspiration, paint, and elbow grease can fix anything. 45$ for two? Sure, we’ll take ‘em.
The first step was to sand down the tired finish that was on all the surfaces. Then we primed the bedside table (this helps give the paint a good layer to cling to, especially in a refurbish project).

Thanks for the shout out Casque. Actually, I’m headed to Austin, TX this weekend for Austin City Limits. Cheers!
This is awesome. I am in need of some bedside tables @ the moment so I will definitely use this as a resource. Hope you guys are doing well out in Cali!
Thanks Kurt – it was a fun project. Life’s good in CA, but the only way to know it is to see it, so you’ll have to come visit soon!
