Creative Bedside Table Refurbish Project

We started out with a pair of junky bedside tables from the thrift store, but on a new apartment budget they were perfect.  A little inspiration, paint, and elbow grease can fix anything.  45$ for two? Sure, we’ll take ‘em.

The first step was to sand down the tired finish that was on all the surfaces.  Then we primed the bedside table (this helps give the paint a good layer to cling to, especially in a refurbish project).

A quick hit with the primer and it's ready for paint.
Next we got the colored buckets out and got after it.  We decided on a nice coral inside the drawers that would be a nice little surprise when we opened the drawers in the morning.  For the exterior of the bedside tables we went with a turquoise to brighten the room up.  We have golden wood floors and white walls, so a little blue to bring some pop to that situation was perfect.

It did take two coats of each color to get the right amount of pop out of the color that we wanted, but it turned out great.  Even found a nice matching drawer knob that matched our color scheme perfectly (Anthropologie is a great source)
